What a donation covers
Every gift is applied to the term costs below. Where a family cannot pay, donations cover the gap, and we report back what each term actually cost.

Boarding and house care
A bed in one of the five houses, with a named house patron or matron.

What a student joining the school needs to start the term properly.

A boarding place means three meals a day, every day of term. It is one of the quiet costs of keeping a child in school, and one of the first things a gift covers.

Sponsor a student
Sponsorship pairs one supporter with one student for their years at ECHS. You cover the cost of that child's place: boarding, meals, uniform and school materials. In return you get progress reports at the end of each term and the quiet knowledge that a name on an exam register exists because of you.
Sponsorship is arranged through a phone call or email, not an online form, so we can agree the details and consent around the student's information first.

Transparency note: ECHS is run under Empathy Children Initiative. Accounts are reviewed annually, and donors who ask receive the summary for their gift.
